Dylan For President!

This is the poster we made for Dylan's bid for Student Council President. He's been so excited about scouts lately that this slogan just seemed appropriate. Dylan is pretty confident about the election but I always worry. I want him to have a good experience either way. Even if he doesn't win he will always know he tried his best. For such a quiet kid it always surprises me that he wants to run for things. He seems to have some natural leadership abilities.
Yes, we made the poster together. I put the components together and he worked out the layout and developed the slogan. I even made him stay up until 10 pm to finish. He wanted to go to bed and let me finish everything but I reminded him of all the movies he's watched today and told him this was a "choice and accountability thing". Hopefully, he'll learn that procrastination isn't a good thing. Unfortunately, this is one thing I teach by principle and not by example! :(
